Fashion shows

Emilio Pucci & Anna Sui

I saw a few fashion shows on style.com and the ones that stood out to me were Alice + Olivia, Anna Sui, and Emilio Pucci.  Emilio Pucci is the one that stood out to me the most and the one I loved the most.  Some of the trends I noticed on all three of the runways were flowy dresses, Boho, feathers, boots, the color brown with pops of color, lots of busy patterns, and in the Emilio Pucci collection almost everything ties up like a pirate type of look.

Trend Influences

Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama is new to starting a trend, well in the public eye.  Michelle is married to President Barrack Obama, which makes her the First Lady.  She wears a lot of right off the runway pieces, but she also goes casual-chic with J Crew.  Everyone looks up to a higher influence to dress like and Michelle Obama is the perfect women for that.  All around she is a classy lady that is setting trends left and right!

Rachel Zoe

Rachel Zoe is a famous stylist in Hollywood.  She styles Demi Moore, Molly Sims, Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson, Debra Messing, and many more celebrities.  She has to know what is in style and what is out.  The reason is one wouldn't want to put a A-list star in something from last season.  Rachel also has a television series on Bravo called The Rachel Zoe project and she also is a part time designer for her own line on QVC.  With the line on QVC she can create different trends and since she works in the fashion world Rachel knows whats hot and whats not.

Furniture

FUTONS

Two of the best inventions in life are the bed and the couch!  If you put those together you get the Futon, which in my opinion is the ultimate invention ever!  I love the futon because you can use it as a couch while watching television and a bed for sleeping after you are done watching television.  Its beyond brilliant, and I have not even got started on some of the styles you can get.  One can get it plain with the same color all around or you can trick out your futon and make it all stylish.  I prefer the chic white one, like the one below.  Whichever one you choose, make sure that it is you! And I didn't even mention how much you can save!  For those college students who live in a small space or just don't have enough money to get a couch and a bed, you can just get a futon, they are very cheap and comfy!!

Then and Now-- Jumpsuits

Jumpsuits

Throughout the years jumpsuits have changed.  There were spandex, body hugging, were I do not know how some people breathe in them, to just flowy, eat whatever you want and it wont show.  To me jumpsuits say "Classy Overalls" and there is nothing wrong with that!  You don't have to worry about picking out a second piece because its all right there for you!  The piece is nice, you can play it up with lots of jewelry for a night on the town or wear it with flip flops for doing errands! Overall I recommend everyone having one in their wardrobe because it is an easy go to piece for when you are to lazy to pick out an outfit!
